- Always create a unique folder for every iteration of amended files. ie D:\Act\DanceOrama D:\Act\DanceOrama2 D:\Act\DanceOrama3 and so on. Always move the newest set of mp3 files to the next numbered folder in the sequence.
- NEVER use your existing DJ music folder(s) to create subfolders for ACT and the plays music files.
- After you have all the lastest files in one of the numbered folders, open Mixxx and remove the prior folder D:\Act\DanceOrama from the linked folders in Mixxx.
- Check the Missing Tracks list and delete Metadata from Mixxx. This cleans those older files from the Database that Mixxx uses.
- Add the newer folder D:/Act/DanceOrama2 to the library in Mixxx.
- Scan the new folder, in my example D:\Act\DanceOrama2
- Analyze the new tracks. This should put the latest Meta of songs or tracks that have virtually the same names out of the database in step 3 and 4. And then add the NEW files in steps 5. and 6. into the Database anew.
